Environment Art for Project F4E (Top Down Fantasy Game)

Environment 1: Dragon Vault

Below are some example screenshots from a map I built using the assets above. Populating and creation of all 3D assets in them were done by me.

Environment 2: Scrap Desert

Using all the modular desert assets above I built/kitbashed the "Desert Scrap Fortress" that can be seen below. The fortress was put together and popluated by me, but the following assets that I used were not made by me: the tileable plank texture (the one used for big flat parts of the walls - all planks that have volume were made by me using my trimsheet above), an extra tileable metal beam (aside from the one I made myself as part of the trimsheet above), lanterns, sawblades, barrels, crates, stools, table, cheese, bottles, thick wooden stakes (the ones along the bottom of the outside wall), and finally all assets visible here as part of the environment outside of the fortress.

In addition to making a bespoke model for the laboratory machine, I also built/kitbashed and populated the laboratory itself - the area contained inside the the metal flooring in the screenshot below. Aside from the table (which was kitbashed using the trimesheet from above) and the laboratory machine, the other assets I used were not made by me. The other assets in the environment surrounding the laboratory were also not made by me.

The other assets in the environment around the tree stumps above were not made by me.

Environment 3: Demon Wastelands

This environment is still comparatively early in development, but below is an example screenshot of what it can look like with all the assets being used together. All assets in the shot are populated by me and created by me except for the following: The grass, bramble, small tree (in the background), the flesh strands with volume (i.e. not referring the ground texture I made) that are attaching themselves to the big rock in the background.

Another thing that has been explored is to also use assets from the Demon Wastelands in other environments, as a way of showing demonic corruption spreading in certain areas of the world. Below is an example of this in the Dragon Vault environment. All assets in the shot are populated by me and created by me, except for the small platform in the middle of the room (at the bottom of the screen).

Bonus: Miscellaneous Environment Props

The asset below has been cut/reworked for the current iteration of the game, but here is an older version I made a while back. The direction for it was that it was supposed to function both like a turret and a base the player needs to defend on missions.
